There’s Kezar Lake, only steps away from our front door, for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and exploring and in the winter, there’s snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, skating and snow tubing. 

There’s the Musterfield Farm Museum. Located one mile and an easy walk from the inn, this 18th Century Homestead and restored buildings still has a working bicentennial farm. Civil War reenactments and Old Fashioned Farm Days in the summer, Ice Cutting on Kezar Lake in the winter are just a few of the charming activities at this historic spot.

Nearby there’s Mount Sunapee Adventure Park where there are lots of fun things to do for all ages that include a Canopy Zip-Line Tour featuring a series of zip-lines, rope bridges and rappelling as you descend from the top of South Peak.  Adventurers age six and up can enjoy a treetop obstacle course where they negotiate obstacles that stretch from tree to tree with obstacles that include zip-lines, net traverse, rickety bridge, monkey vines, log crossing, plank bridge, rope bridges and more. There are also off-road Segway® excursions winding through the base area and lower slopes of Mount Sunapee that are guided by staff and include an orientation.
