Gather the family, bundle up and share a New England tradition on February 18th at Muster Field Farm Museum and Kezar Lake, a stones throw from Follansbee Inn.

The ice cutting is done by a gas powered saw and is finished by hand by volunteers. Harvested ice is loaded by our ice block fulcrum onto wagons and vehicles, then hauled to the Farm. Our Ice House, c.1890, will be fully stacked with block ice for use at our summer events. Enjoy warmth and refreshments in Ryder Corner School House, c.1810.

Admission is free. Ice cutting begins at Kezar Lake at 9:00 am, the event concludes when all the ice is in the Ice House at Muster Field Farm Museum.
